Some shoots require a little more planning and careful thought. This one was so special and sweet. I get to meet so many parents and kids in my career, but the ones with special needs seem to touch my heart even more. I sit in awe as I watch parents pour out their love and patience with their little ones with disabilities. This amazing and gorgeous little girl (big sister) Delani has Autism, it’s a pretty extreme case and her beautiful Mom worried about how the session would go since they hadn’t ever tried a professional shoot. I said a prayer before I left for my session and I tell you what…it was a perfect session. She was happy and ready to play with her family. This mom Jessica was incredible with her daughters, patient and loving, full of an immense amount of energy that she puts forth daily to keep up with her beautiful girls. I find motherhood is full of joy and challenges for all Mom’s, but can’t even imagine how it is for her on a daily basis. So glad we could capture some fun moments as well as some that exude her love for her girls. Thanks to Cindi for setting up this session for her daughter-in-law and grand daughters and jumping in for a few. I loved this session! Grateful to know you all!
So fun to have a beach session in this part of Texas, more of a rarity and I love it. We made sure to be up early so the light would be lovely and it all worked out so well. What a fun session with such adorable and sweet little boys. And the cute fedora hats just made the shoot, way to go Mom!!! Such a pleasure to meet this sweet and loving family.
Another fabulous family that was one of my first clients when I was getting started. They have been so amazing and grown with me. Tessa (the youngest) was just a baby when I met them! Besides being a beautiful family they are extremely sweet. No other word could describe them better. Their daughters are all so kind and so sweet to one another.
The colors and light in their portraits were perfect! What a great day for portraits. Thank you guys for another wonderful session. Enjoy!
All of my clients mean so very much to me. But when you have been photographing a family for 3 years now you just have a special place in your heart for them. I have photographed their gorgeous first born and now little tiny baby sister! I feel fortunate to not only call them my clients but my friends as well.
Now baby A was a dream baby! She slept so well for us and did great for all her snuggly pictures with Mom, Dad and big sis. Nothing makes me happier than beautiful photos that show the love of one another so strongly, it is what you treasure 20 years down the road. It is my favorite type of photography – showing affection. Enjoy the portraits of this little bundle of sweetness and her loving family.
Not sure how I missed posting this one last summer (Could have something to do with the fact that I was pregnant and incredibly sick), but I realized it now and just had to post this amazing senior portrait session. We were able to rent out the Symphony Center in Dallas since music is a very important part of her life. Kelly was just stunning and an absolute joy to photograph. I remember this shoot fondly and think of her off at college enjoying life and all of the changes in her life now. Amazing how fast time flies. This was definitely one of the coolest locations I have done for senior portraits. 🙂 Would make a great spot for engagements or bridals too. 🙂
*Make-up was professionally done by Beauty and the Blush. I highly recommend hiring a professional make-up artist for any shoot that is important to you. Especially for weddings and high school sessions, but even family portraits!
While out it in sunny Phoenix, Arizona I was able to visit this wonderfully sweet family again and photograph their beautiful family. I loved the location and the orchard shots we were able to get as well as so many others. This family photographs beautifully as you can tell for yourselves. Today is mother’s day. I hope Katie enjoys seeing these on her special day. Your family has a lot of love for one another and I loved this session for that!
To all of the mother’s out there, please enjoy your own mother’s day this year. I hope you are relaxing and being showered with love by your children and families.
